  • What is Société Design?

    Société Design is an exclusive private shopping service for high-end, vintage design furniture and decor. Based on their search, our members are presented with a personalized selection of pieces from our partner design galleries in Paris, while receiving end-to-end services like renovations, reupholstery and white glove delivery across the US.

  • What kind of furniture and decor does Société Design offer?

    We offer vintage furniture and decor, with an emphasis on mid-century European design, from our vetted galleries in the Paris flea market (marché Paul Bert Serpette) and the Carré Rive Gauche. While our focus is on vintage design, we are also able to get artisan decor pieces and made to order furniture from a selection of workshops in Europe.

  • How does it work?

    Société Design membership is free! We work on a commission base, and charge 15% on top of retail price for all pieces. There are absolutely no strings attached to working with us, if you don’t end up buying a piece through us, there are no fees associated with a search.

  • How do I become a member?

    In order to ensure the best quality service to our members, we limit access to our service to a selection of interior designers and collectors. To become a member, contact us through the Contact Us Page and answer a few questions. We will plan a short call with you to review your application.

  • How much does it cost?

    It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

  • How long does it take to receive my order?

    We offer different shipping options based on your timeline and budget. Shipping time varies from a few days to a few weeks based on your preferred shipping option.

  • Are there any additional fees?

    Shipping and handling, as well as customs fees are passed on to the customer, meaning you will be billed separately for those. We do not markup those fees..

  • Can I see the furniture before it arrives?

    We will send a detailed product description including provenance and condition, along with several images. However since we source all pieces directly from Paris, we only bring pieces to the US once they are bought.

  • Do you offer customization services?

    Yes, we offer renovation and reupholstery services. Our goal is to deliver the best quality, and we will advise based on each piece’s condition if any work needs to be done.
